Student Leadership

Began reading the book "Help! I'm a Student Leader: Practical Ideas and Guidance on Leadership" by Doug Fields in preparation for my student internship this summer with CRCC in Washington. Did you know Jesus, the most influential leader of all time, didn't declare himself as a leader? He led more people to his Father than he could count and yet that's not the title he gave himself. He declared himself to be a servant, not one to be served, but one to serve others (Matt 20:28). How appropriate it is to strive to be Christ-like to the children, and naturally lead by doing so?

I hope to learn a lot from this experience, and that all the glory goes to Him.
