The funniest moment of the day was when Cinderella asked her mom if she could have a popsicle at the end of my work day. Mom's response "Ask Lynsi, she's in charge." I smiled as mom asked what Cinderella consumed for lunch... Cinderella responds: "she put hot dogs on my ears!" The laughter could not contain itself as I tried to muffle it so Cinderella could continue to explain.... "my Mickey mouse... my ears... she put hot dogs in my Mickey Mouse ears..."

In a bowl shaped like Mickey Mouse (with ears) was macaroni and cheese with a hot dog halved and placed standing up on the ears. Apparently that had never happened before and was a very noteworthy thing to remember. It made my day to have created such a phenomenal moment for her.
Each day creates a new challenge as Ariel is growing and her demands are different than Cinderella's and Belle's. Tuesday thru Thursday we spent our mornings by the pool, lunch immediately upon return to the house, a lil' playtime before clean up and nap, then a lil' playtime before the mama's returned. The routine became enjoyable to all until Friday's weather threw us for a loop. My creativity juices were obviously not flowing like they normally do as all we ended up doing was dancing to disney music, watercolor painting, and coloring instead of swimming. As I look ahead at this coming weeks' forecast, I am thinking I should plan ahead for some indoor activities since rain and thunderstorms will abound.
